Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is a native of Minsk in Belarus. Minsk is the capital city. Belarus. Her father Sergey (d. 2019) was an athlete in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born Minsk, Belarus on May 5th, 1998. Aryna's Sabalenka holds 12 WTA Singles titles, one of which was named Grand Slam at the Australian Open 2023. Doubles is another area where she is a pro. The US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Martens. Additionally, she was able to complete her Sunshine Double in 2019, by winning her the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open alongside Elise Mertens. Just four couples managed to accomplish this feat on women's doubles. She rose from second to third in world singles rankings on August 23rd, 2021. Her highest rank was also achieved in the month of January 2023. She climbed up to the top of the rankings for doubles in the next year after triumphing in Melbourne. She became the second Belarusian tennis player to achieve success in the field. She was trained by former Russian tennis champion Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until at the end of season of 2019 and also at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann served a brief partnership with her between August 2020 and September. She is being trained by her countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her heroes.
